Hydrowar > Tactics > Movement
When moving from one point to another it's typical to only look in the direction of travel. This is a good way to fall into an ambush. ALWAYS Maintain 360° surviellance. This is the #1 rule of moving safely. Everything else in this article is built upon this rule.
On paintball and airsoft websites you may come across an extensive list of formations. Waterguns don't shoot nearly as far, so it's unnecissary to move in complex formations. I've divided movement into 2 different types here, column and line/wedge. You will move in a column when you go down a path, so it's necissary to discuss how to do this properly. If you are moving through an open area such as a field or a forest with little underbrush your team will probably spread out more or less in a line, so I adress this as well.

Line or Wedge, eg through a field
Column, eg down a path
