The
amount of games that you can play are only limited by what your own
imagination can come up with. Listed here are some of the more
popular games across the water warfare community.
There are five primary categories of gaming:
- Elimination. Players are given a given
number of lives. When a player is hit they lose a life.
Once a player loses his last life he is eliminated from the game.
- Score. When a hit is made the player/team
making the hit recieves (a) point(s). Once a certain number of
minutes have passed, the game is over, and the player/team with the
most points wins.
- Respawn. When a hit is made, the player
recieving the hit must run to a "respawn point" before reentering the
game. Respawn games must be combined with score based games and
or capture the flag.
- Capture the Flag. May be combined with
elimination, score, or respawn. Once the flag is captured and
returned to a set point (such as the offensive team's base) the team
which has made the capture either wins the game, or gains a set amount
of points (in a score based game).
- Soakfest. The driest player/team wins.
Team Games
NOTE the following games can be
modified. One common way to modification is to place weapons
restrictions on the game. Examples: only air pressure soakers, 1
piston based soaker per team, only 1 CPS gun per team, etc.
Team 1hk
Objective: Eliminate all enemy personel.
Rules: If you get hit you are eliminated.
Team 1hk + Capture the Flag
Objective: Eliminate all enemy personel OR capture the flag and return
it to a set point.
Rules: If you get hit you are eliminated.
Team 3hk, Respawn, Base Defense
Objective: Eliminate all enemy personel.
Rules: If you get hit you must return to a predefined "respawn point"
before reentering the game. After a player has been hit 3x they
are eliminated from the game. One team attacks, another team
defends.
Team 1hs, Respawn
Objective: Score more points than the opposing team.
Rules: A team scores a point with each hit they make on the
enemy. When a player is hit, that player must return to a
predefined "respawn point" before reentering the game. All
players have infinite lives. After a predetermined # of minutes
have passed the game is over. At the end of the game the team
with the most points wins.
Team 1hs, Respawn +Capture the Flag
Objective: Score more points than the opposing team.
Rules: Identical to 1hs, Respawn, except that each team can capture the
opposing team's flag for a predetermined number of points (such as 10).
Team 1hs, Pause
Objective: Score more points than the opposing team.
Rules: A team scores a point with each hit they make on the
enemy. When a player is hit, that player must raise his weapon
over his head and count a predetermined number of seconds before
reentering the game. All players have infinite lives.
After a predetermined # of minutes have passed the game is over.
At the end of the game the team with the most points wins.
Team Respawn + Capture the Flag
Objective: Capture the opposing team's flag.
Rules: When a player is hit, that player must return to a predefined
"respawn point" before reentering the game. All players have
infinite lives. After a predetermined # of minutes have passed
the game is over. If a team captures the opposition's flag and
returns it to a preset point (such as their own flag), before the game
is over, then the team which made the capture wins the game.
Team Soakfest
Objective: Soak enemy combatants, keep your team dry.
Rules: The team that's the dryest at the end wins. Both teams
usually end up equally soaked.
